Vision and Mission
Formulate projects for cultivating intercrops such as vegetables and vanilla alongside primary crops including coconut, paddy, nutmeg, tapioca, banana, elephant foot yam, taro, ginger, and turmeric. Implement a detailed project to advance the dairy sector and its allied industries. Create new employment opportunities by promoting small-scale industries. Enhance infrastructure facilities in the Primary Health Centres (PHCs) under the jurisdiction of the Block in the healthcare sector. Ensure the availability of clean drinking water within a 200-meter radius in water-scarce areas. High priority is given to constructing more houses and renovating existing homes through the PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) and LIFE Mission schemes. Formulate various projects aimed at cleaning streams and ponds and stocking them with diverse fish fingerlings to increase fish wealth, thereby transforming the local economy.
